Local Authority Auditor

Real trust and visibility, not a vanity local-SEO score

Local Authority Auditor reads your review momentum, reputation quality, citation presence and listing consistency against your named local rivals — scored with cited evidence, plus fixes ranked by impact and effort.

This screenshot is one section of a much longer report

What you're looking at above is a real, relevant slice of the dashboard — not the whole result. Every run also produces a full written report, with every section, source and citation included, which you can export as a PDF at any time from your History. See a real example of that full PDF report →

This app runs on its own and already gives a decent, cited answer by itself. But it's also one of 22 single apps in the suite — chain several of them together from across different groups in a Workflow, and each step hands its findings to the next, producing a deeper result and more data than any one app alone.

Why it works this way

Velocity beats volume

Review momentum specifically rewards steady, recent activity over rivals — not just a raw star rating or lifetime review count, which can look strong while actually going stale.

Honest about what's sensed, not API-verified

Review counts and momentum are sensed from visible public material, not pulled from a private platform API — and the scoring says so explicitly rather than faking a precision it doesn't have.

Real official statistics behind the local context

The audited area's actual population, employment and business-count figures ground the read — this was the first app in the suite built to consume that statistics layer.

Available as an owner's action plan, a marketing brief, or a monthly client report — the same cited scoring, shaped for who's using it.

How it works

Velocity beats volume — it's watching for momentum, not just numbers

Review Momentum specifically rewards recent, steady activity over raw review counts — a business with fewer but fresher reviews than its rivals can still score well. Naming Competitors sharpens the whole audit into a direct trust comparison rather than a general local read.

Chain it into something bigger

This app runs standalone — it isn't currently a step inside one of the multi-app Workflows. It's built to be run on its own as a recurring local-trust check.

What to put in the boxes

Business NameRequired
Your real, current trading name.
NicheRequired
What you do, plainly — e.g. "emergency plumber".
AreaRequired
Your town, city or area, e.g. "Stockport". This also unlocks real official statistics for that area.
CompetitorsOptional
Named local rivals to compare against, one per line. Without these, the audit still runs against the general local field.
WebsiteOptional
Your site URL — the engine reads it first-hand as part of the audit.

Good to know

  • Nothing here is final — you can correct assumptions, resolve ambiguities, and re-run a refined pass.
  • Every factor score is sensed from visible public material, not API-verified counts — the justifications say so honestly, which is the point.
  • The fix list is ranked by impact vs effort, biggest wins first.

Built-in tutorial

Every app opens with a real, built-in tutorial covering how it works, use cases and tips for getting a sharper result — shown automatically the first time, and updated periodically by the Opis team as the tool evolves. Dismiss it per app, or turn tutorials off entirely in Settings.

Delivery integrations

Export any result as PDF, Word, HTML, Markdown, or plain text, and send it directly via Email, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Zapier, Make, n8n.

Once a report is generated, translate it into any of 64 languages with high-accuracy transcreation — not literal machine translation.

The system first reads authoritative publications in the target language for this industry to calibrate tone and terminology, then renders the report to that standard. Both the original and the converted version persist — toggle or export either one, and change the target language any time.

Pricing

Included in the App Hub plan — App Hub £19.99/month unlocks this app and every other app in the suite at this tier, plus a bring-your-own-API-key option. Not a separate charge per app. No free tier.
