Terms of Service
These are the terms you agree to when you create an account or subscribe. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you subscribe rather than after.

The service
Opis App Hub provides a suite of AI-assisted analysis and content applications. You submit information, the service gathers supporting evidence and produces a structured result with its sources, confidence and stated gaps.
We may add, change or retire individual apps and features as the product develops. If we remove something you actively rely on, we will give you reasonable notice.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate registration details. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@opis-app-hub.com if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
One account is for one user. Do not share credentials.
You bring your own AI key
This is central to how the product is priced, so it is stated plainly rather than buried. Your subscription buys access to the software. It does not include AI compute.
To run analyses you must supply your own API key from a supported AI provider. Your usage is billed by that provider directly to you, at their prices, under their terms. We do not mark it up, resell it, or take a share of it. It also means you can see exactly what your usage costs.
A key is required for both trial and paid subscriptions. If you cannot obtain one, the service will not be usable, and you should not subscribe.
Subscription, trial and payment
The subscription is £19.99 per month including any applicable tax, billed monthly in advance by our payment provider, Stripe.
New accounts begin with a time-limited trial. A valid payment card is required to start the trial, and the card is verified but not charged at that point. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins automatically and the card is charged.
The trial is limited to one per payment card. We check a one-way fingerprint of the card for this purpose, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If a payment fails, access to paid features may be suspended until payment succeeds.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, including during the trial, and if you cancel before the trial ends you will not be charged.
A self-service cancellation control is being added to the product. Until it is live, cancel by emailing support@opis-app-hub.com from the address on your account. We will action it immediately, confirm in writing, and ensure you are not charged where you cancelled in time. If a charge is taken because we were slow to act on a cancellation you sent in time, we will refund it.
On cancellation you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part-months.
AI output is not advice, and can be wrong
Outputs are generated by AI systems from source material that may itself be incomplete, outdated or mistaken. A confident, fluent answer is not automatically a correct one. We surface sources, confidence and gaps precisely so that you can check.
Nothing produced by the service is legal, financial, medical, tax or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for it. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on, publish or act upon.
See our AI transparency page for a fuller explanation of where AI can fail and what controls exist.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone else’s rights including copyright and privacy;
- generate content that is defamatory, harassing, deceptive or intended to mislead;
- submit personal data about other people that you have no lawful basis to share;
- attempt to breach, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service or its infrastructure;
- resell or redistribute the service as though it were your own product.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used this way. Where circumstances allow we will warn you first and explain what needs to change.
Who owns what
You keep all rights in the material you submit, and in the results generated from it. You are free to use them commercially. We claim no ownership over your work and do not use your content to train AI models.
We keep all rights in the software, interface, methodology and branding of Opis App Hub. Your subscription is a licence to use the service, not a transfer of it.
You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service for you — storing your content, and transmitting it to the AI and search providers required to fulfil your request.
Availability
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, provider outages and faults happen. The service depends on third-party AI, search and hosting providers, and an outage at one of them can interrupt it.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or losses arising from decisions taken in reliance on AI-generated output that was not independently verified.
We are not responsible for charges billed to you by your own AI provider, or for that provider’s availability, pricing or terms.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may end the agreement if you materially breach these terms, or on reasonable notice if we discontinue the service — in which case we will refund any period you have paid for but not received.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. If a change materially affects your rights or what you pay, we will tell you in advance rather than rely on you rereading this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
